My name is Kierra Goosby. I worked with non profit organizations for nine years before incorporating Golden Rod Consultants, LLC in 2021. I witnessed firsthand how cash flow dramatically impacted the financial stability for many business owners. Grant funding provides the additional financial security a business needs to profoundly impact their communities and promote generational opportunity. As an experienced Grant Writer, Grants Manager, and proposal reviewer, I help businesses and nonprofit organizations scale strategically with stellar grant proposals.

I worked for grant making and grant seeking nonprofits before founding Golden Rod Consultants, LLC in 2021. I also received a Project Management Professional credential demonstrating skill in Agile and Scrum techniques. I strategically research and select the grants my clients are likely win. Once my clients select an aligned opportunity, I craft proposals with comprehensive budgets reflecting the actual cost of doing business and set realistic expectations for achieving project or program goals.
Nonprofit organizations are the backbone of the United States of America. They are hubs for community leaders, support systems, and inspiration for the next generation. Unfortunately, the work of a business owner is never finished, and many business owners (especially Black business owners) are bootstrapping or taking on debt to realize their business dreams.
